I was logged out after idling.
Our server terminates idled sessions after 20 minutes. You just need to login again to to access protected pages.
If the login process still fails, then attempt to Clear Cache, then refresh the page. Please be advised that this action will also logout of other authenticated sites so please finish with other sites before proceeding with this step.
Note: You do not have to reset password each time the browser fails to authenticate the login session after being logged out. Clearing cache is not recommended during online testing or registration processes.
I am an expired member/trainer.
All member accounts will be deactivated on the date of expiration. Trainers who are within the maximum overdue expiration period are still eligible to train with clients but will have their membership access deactivated.
Membership Renewal is required for non-certified CPTN members to gain access to the Members Portal and to continue to obtain member rates where applicable. You can renew using the Membership Renewal Form.
Note: Membership is included for eligible trainers planning on Certification Renewal within the maximum overdue period. Contact Education Services for personalized options for reinstatement if overdue for more than 6 months.
I have changed personal e-mail address.
It is important to provide us with an updated e-mail address along with valid contact information. If problems persist with retrieving account information using the initial registration e-mail address, please contact Information Services.
Note: Please do not use a corporate e-mail address which might not be accessible within a period of 6 months.
I have forgotten the member ID and password.
You can request account Member ID as well as reset the password using the Forgotten Information page.
Note: Your account expiration date must be greater than the current date and account must not be deactivated.
Our password reset is a 2-step process. You will be sent an e-mail to the e-mail address on record for optional confirmation of password reset. If confirmed, the password will be reset to the default and a notification is issued.
Note: You can use the Show Password checkbox or built-in browser password reveal buttons when in private to confirm correctness. Saved passwords can also be revealed to other users if it is a public or shared computer.
