Steve Lee is a big reason for the gym’s effectiveness. Steve’s personal training is unique as he sifts through the latest trends but making sure he presents only the effective techniques for you, while always keeping in align with fundamental biomechanics so you don’t get injured. Also, he combines his own personal power lifting and martial arts competitive days to add flavour and practicality to the workouts. Finally, no one knows the squat better than him! – Dennis J.
I had the opportunity of having Steve Lee as my personal trainer and I am very happy to have been paired with him. I highly recommend selecting Steve Lee as your personal trainer. Based on my past injuries, he recommended alternative exercises and certain techniques/methods to prevent future injuries. He not only demonstrates the exercises, but also explains it in a way that a client can understand how to perform it, the benefits, and the difference between another exercise. He is very knowledgeable and passionate with what he does. He continues to provide tips and scientific studies relating to workouts/recovery. Steve is also kind and accommodating with scheduling my personal training sessions as my work schedule changes weekly. Thank you Steve! – David B.
If you have the opportunity you should 110% train with Steve Lee. He is an exceptional trainer who delivers amazing results quickly and effectively. I am extremely selective about personal trainers since I come from a human physiology background, and it really means something when a trainer can reference studies and research around training that outpaces my own knowledge by leagues. I leave every session stronger and more rehabilitated – some trainers will force you to overexert yourself or take it too easy but another reason why Steve is amazing is that he actually personalizes every single session based on your physical and emotional state when you start – you’ll never get a cookie-cutter session with him. Highly recommend, if I was still back in Toronto I would definitely be working with Steve. – Jacqueline Z.
Steve Lee has been working with me on any physical issues or goals that have come up within the past 4 years! He’s a very knowledgeable trainer and therapist. He gives a lot of beneficial strategies to aid in any physical discrepancies as well as how to effectively and efficiently reach my goals! When I noticed that I was slightly leaning with my squats, the first method he tried determined that my right hip is higher than my left. We identified possible causes and he gave me and showed me what to do to fix the problem. If he wasn’t a trainer, he could be a doctor! His knowledge of the anatomy and biology of the body is detailed and he breaks it down in a way that’s easy to understand. I recommend him 1000% as he is the best trainer/therapist I ever encountered! – Raven R.
